- Tightened fixing screws of the side support bar since it was found that these screws were not so tight. In order to reduce possibility of losing, it should be tighten.
- Experts (Zoltan, Rainer, Matin) pointed out a possibility to expand the cold box and it could cause the change of target position. Zoltan looked the actual support structure at the on-site
and he concluded that any movement will not be happened.
- some self measurement of the target support. ##### Results should be posted here. #######
- We plan to have another geometer survey by CERN team on June 27 (Mon)
- consider trigger condition. As of 2010 run, it was
T1 = S1 * S2 * V0bar * V1pbar, CEDAR, THCbar
T2 = S1 * S2 * S3 * V1pbar, CEDAR, THCbar
T3 = S1 * S2 * S3 * V0bar * V1pbar, CEDAR, THCbar
T4 = S1 * S2 * S3 * V1pbar
this time, we plan to have empty target run. S4 (downstream the target) is useful to check interaction rate.
after some discussions, we decided to place S4 for 2022 run.
V0 is a scintillator 8cm diameter, 1cm of the hole diameter and 0.2cm tickness in the vacuum. It was used in 2010 run but not used for 2022 run.
V1p is a scintillator 30cm x 30cm x 1 cm, 4cm of the hole diameter. This counter is useful to veto beam halo. For example, halo component interacts with GEM-BPD and enter S3,
it cause mimic events. We decisded to install V1p.
- V1p preparation but accidentally it was broken. Need to fix it.
- improved support structure of V1p |
